Canada-Headquartered Wealth Manager Continues US Recruitment Drive

RBC Wealth Management US has appointed Nate Angelo as head of wealth management consulting, continuing its recruitment drive across the US.

In this role, Angelo will lead a team focused on working with financial advisors and branch leaders to improve relationships with RBC Wealth Management's clients, the firm said in a statement.

Angelo spent 11 years with Russell Investments in Seattle. After leaving Russell Investments, he launched his own investment management firm, which merged with Columbia River Advisors in 2016.

“RBC is committed to making investments in both people and technology to provide our valued clients with the trusted service and expertise they deserve,” said Ann Senne, head of the advice and solutions group at RBC Wealth Management US. “As head of wealth management consulting, Nate and his team will work to equip our financial advisors with the in-depth knowledge and best tools to help our clients achieve their financial goals.”

The firm has been recruiting heavily within the US, and this publication recently reported that RBC Wealth Management had appointed Michael Parker as head of advisor recruiting.
